How much film do I have?

3-inch diameter reels are the most common. Each holds 50 feet of footage and yields about 3 minutes of video.

• 3-inch reel  =  50 feet  =  ~3 minutes of video
  
• 5-inch reel  =  200 feet  =  ~12 minutes of video
  
• 7-inch reel  =  400 feet  =  ~24 minutes of video
